Vintage Italian Linen Set with Punto Embroidery

A spectacular set of Italian linens; it includes one runner and eight napkins. The linen is an exceptionally fine weave. Embroidered with the Punto Antico technique, there are areas of beautiful cutwork and impossibly tiny stiches. Worthy of your home museum.

The runner measures 16" x 42". Each of the eight napkins measures 11" x 16"

They have been soaked and pressed. The placemats were heavily starched but most of it has soaked out. There are a couple areas of storage discoloration as indicated by the fork in the photos.
