Antique Spode Platter, 14.5" Oval

This beautiful, Antique Spode platter bears a backstamp that was put in use in 1891. The pattern is similar to Dresden Rose and Marlborough Sprays. It is thick and substantial with a scalloped edge. Clusters of flowers in pinks, blues, purples and yellows ornament the center and the verge. The rim has a thin stripe of mustard yellow. The green backstamp reads Spode Copeland's China England
